September 2012 Update

Unfortunately this blog has become idle for several months now - mostly because I have been the opposite of idle! The fact is that I have been diverted by other pursuits, the most recent of which is the beginning of the end of my academic career at Dalhousie University. This is my fourth and final year of my Honours in English degree at Dal, and I want to go out on a stellar note. This for me means completing my school work on time and to the best of my ability. I am also working two part-time jobs to save money for my further education at Nova Scotia Community College in 2014. Therefore, my art has been, and sadly will continue to be, neglected for a time.

I will leave the blog online, but I will not be posting anything new for a while.

I highly doubt that anyone actually follows this blog anyway, so I am sure that I will be disappointing no one other than myself.

If there is someone reading this, all I can say is that I appreciate you stopping by, and I hope you enjoy the drawings!

Fan Art: Once Upon a Time

One of my favorite TV shows is abc's Once Upon a Time, and my favorite character is Rumplestiltskin.
I used online reference photos to draw the dagger featured in the show that belongs to the "Dark One" - Rumplestiltskin. I wanted to draw this because I really like the design of the blade and thought it would be fun to draw.

All credit for the original thought/design behind the images related to Rumplestiltskin goes to the creators of the show.
